Six Pack Abs Diet - What Are Some Foods I Can Eat?

When going for the elusive six pack you know diet plays a large role (90% diet 10% exercises). It doesn't matter what exercises or program you're following; you need a good diet. The tricky part is going to be finding foods that taste good but won't stop you from getting a six pack.

Apples - when/if cutting your carb intake (moving towards the 5% to 8% body fat range) hunger will strike. Your body isn't used to being this lean so it's going to fight you with hunger. Apples are a great choice because they won't raise your blood sugar too much and will supply your body with plenty of fiber (which will help with hunger).

Low Sodium Cottage Cheese - protein is a very important part to a fat-loss diet because it promotes muscle maintenance. You can cut the carbs and fat but if you don't get enough protein you're not going to see optimal results. Cottage cheese is a great source of casein protein (one of the slowest digesting protein sources).

Unsweetened Oatmeal - when it comes to the carbs you're taking in you want to make the most of your daily calorie intake. There are other sources that are slow digesting, free of sugar and will work for fat loss but oatmeal is going to provide you with more volume per calorie which will make you feel full.

Peanut Butter - one large advantage peanut butter has is that it's filled with healthy fats, it will only take one or two tablespoons to give you hunger control. Consider mixing it with your unsweetened oatmeal or even on celery.

So while working on a specific "how to get six pack abs" workout plan keep these
healthy, good tasting food ideas in mind to stay out of starvation mode and get that sexy six pack.
